[그림 설명 : 커브의 길이를 구하는 코드]   (공학적으로 깊이 있게 식을 사용하여 구하는 사람도 있겠습니다.   그러나 헤어커트를 실시함에 있어서 공학적으로 정확하게 구하였다 할지라도 개인적으로 사용하는 컴퓨터에 현재 구비된 프로그램 툴들을 사용하여, 그 구한 식을 따라 설계를 정확하게 표현해 줄 수 있을 지 의문이 듭니다.   또한 실무자인 '헤어디자이너'의 숙달된 감각으로 헤어커트 하는 상황에서는 실제로 주어진 '소재(고객 혹은 모델의 모발)'를 커팅하는 동안 주어진 모발은 헤어디자이너에게 충분하게 '오차'를 허용한다는 것을 알 수 있다는 점입니다.   가령, '섹션 커트'에 의한 디스커넥션은 '충분한 오차범주'에서 디자이너가 희망하는 헤어스타일을 이루어 주고 있기 때문입니다.) "모발을 '(원의)호'라고 가정하고 길이를 구한다면 헤어커트에 대한 모발 길이의 표현과 사용 그리고 전달에 크게 무리가 없을 것이라 여겨집니다."   (1) (네이프에서) '80mm' 길이의 모발(hair)을 표현하고자 한다면 말입니다.       즉, 이 말은 '80mm'의 '호'를 구하자는 말과 같습니다.   (2) 따라서, '80mm'의 '호(즉, 모발 길이)'를 구하는 간단한 식은 :     " 2πr * (중심각의 크기/360) " <호의 길이의 식> 와 같이 간단하게 구할 수 있습니다.   (3) 물론, 혹자께서 "난 원호가 아닌 '스플라인'으로 구하고 싶다"라고 한다면,     '스플라인' 역시 '원호'를 두 개 이상 조합하여 쉽게 구할 수 ...

  The angles that most hairstylists have loved so much  and hair cut  may not have anything to do at all with  each other in some situations. In the figure below, all three hair cut situations produce  the same result. 일반적으로, 1960년대 부터 헤어커트를 실시하는 헤어스타일리스트들은 커트되어지는 모발군집(헤어패널, 섹션)이 나타내는 각도에 초집중하고 있다.  그러나 버티컬 커트를 실시할 때에는 헤어패널이 임의의 기준과 이루는 각도는 전혀 관계가 없다는 것을 알 수 있게 된다. 만약, 상기와 같은 상황을 인지하지 못하거나 의도적으로 회피할 경우에는 허울 좋은 '디스커넥션'이란 이름으로 정확한 헤어커트를 만들어 볼 기회가 도무지 없을 지도 모른다 라는 점이다. 아래 이미지는 컴퓨터가 간단하게 연산 처리하여 렌더링 해준 삼차원 이미지를 저장한 것이다. 그리고 이 그림은 위에 언급된 상황이 사실에 초 근접하다는 것을 보여주고 있다.
